Tight-Lipped

Franck had come to Delisle’s boutique on the rue de Condé expecting it to be a simple pâtisserie, not home to a celebrated chocolatier. Nor had he expected Delisle himself to emerge from his workshop at the rear of the premises and usher him backstage. It made sense, though. Delisle was a good enough businessman to know that the presence of a flic in his shop was unlikely to boost sales.
